Libertarian Party of Volusia County Elections New Officers and Executive Committee

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 14, 2020

The Libertarian Party of Volusia County held officer elections this past Saturday. Newly elected Chairwoman, Lea Bartos, is excited about the opportunities a presidential election year brings to the Libertarian Party. “We always see a big boost in membership numbers around presidential election time, and early the following year.” She said. “In 2016 the Libertarian Party Presidential candidate received the most number of votes for a 3rd party candidate since Ross Perot and we are expecting to build on that again in 2020.”

The Libertarian Party believes  in limited government and maximum individual freedom. On issues ranging from gun-owner rights to cannabis users, the Libertarian Party wants government out of the business of regulating natural rights of individuals. “We strive for a world set free in our lifetimes,” Bartos said. “We will be giving voters fiscally responsible and pro civil liberties candidates from State House to President.”
